Simulators

We provide multiple pre-recorded trips that can be used to run a simulator.
Such a simulator is the same software that will be deployed within our cars.
These "Vehicle Recording" access real internal Car APIs but replays the recorded trip.
A simulator is assigned to a virtual VIN that starts with the prefix "TEST". We will create a consent that connects the generated VIN with a given project and run the in-car software for the duration of the recorded trip. The consent for the virtual VIN of the simulator will automatically expire after 8 days.
Therefore, any stored sample data related to the simulator will automatically be deleted.
We will send a ConsentRevokation message to your endpoint if you have configured your environment appropriately. You can currently spawn up to 30 simulators in parallel.

Start Simulators

Frontend: 1. Click on the "+ Button".
2. Select a **Project*.
3. Select a Vehicle Recording.
4. Select a MBB Stage.

GET /simulator/recordings

The obtained recording_id are required to start a simulator.

You can start multiple simulators in parallel by utilizing the following endpoint:
