Quotas

Quotas define limits for resource consumption and API usage within CarNEO.
A quota is a limit that controls how much of a resource your organization can use.
It's like a membership tier; Your organization gets assigned usage limits, and the system enforces them to ensure fair resource allocation across all users. It protects our platform resources by setting fair limits on organization usage.
You can see your current quotas and check your usage.
Additionally, you can request an increases through an approval workflow.

CarNEO distinguishes between Absolute Quotas and Rate Quotas.

Absolute quotas: Set a hard, total limit.
Example: Your organization can create a maximum of 10 projects.
If you've created 10 projects, you cannot create an 11th until someone deletes one, or you request an increase. If you hit your Absolute Quotas limit, CarNEO rejects the operation.

Rate Quotas: Set a limit over a time window, allows you to pace your usage.
The windows are independent, each hour resets your counter.
Example: Your organization can authenticate 1000 times per hour. In the first hour you use 800 authentications. In the next hour you get another 1000.
If you hit your Rate Quotas limits CarNEO rejects the operation until the time window resets.
