Organization

An Organization represents a dedicated tenant within CarNEO. An Organization is essentially the environment you are working in.
Everything you create is assigned to an organization.
Hence, the "Service Accounts" or the data you will collect is assigned to your organization.
The organization itself is a profile for the company you work for.
It contains properties like business address and phone number.

An organization is not your personal profile. It is possible to grant access for multiple identities in your organization. Therefore, you can add your colleagues which can - depending on the assigned roles - perform the same tasks for the organization.

It is possible to create multiple companies, for instance if your company manages multiple fleets of other companies.

Via API you can create an organization for your company by utilizing the following endpoint:

POST /organizations

An Organization can be enabled/disables by the following endpoints:

POST /organizations/{organization_id}/:enableOrganization

POST /organizations/{organization_id}/:disableOrganization

In the Frontend, in the "Overview" click the "+ Button" in the top-bar.
In the dropdown next to the button, Organizations you already created are shown. The selected organization can be edited, for instance be disabled, by clicking the "pencil buttom" in the overview.

Note: Toggling the enable/disable status of an organization can take some time.
